Left my buddy’s place in Evergreen around 2pm or so and met the wife of my new host couple at a shopping center near their home. We put all my gear into her car and I followed her to their place. There was about 1/4 mile of dirt road with large rocks making it difficult, so I proceeded slowly. Finally got to their house, but the last little bit of their driveway had ruts in it making it very difficult.
She put me in a room with its own bathroom and set me up with an inflatable bed (though it leaked and I had to reinflate it at least a couple of times throughout the night) and set up a card table and chair for me so I could use my laptop. Also, they have wireless internet access. Very cushy setup.
