Day 33 – Idaho Falls, ID

Idaho Falls, ID

Today was another great day. Comfortable temps. The day started out at 66F but of course got higher as the day wore on and I continued to drop in altitude. No wind to speak of and fantastic sights.

Grand Teton National Park, WyomingGrand Teton National Park, WyomingThe Grand Teton N.P. had some very tall and steep mountain sides. And the Snake river added interesting visuals as I continued to leave the higher altitudes with their cooler temps and mountainous terrain.

Just before leaving the gas station to go to the motel, I asked if I should take the Interstate or the county road. I was told the county road would take a lot longer. When I said something to the effect of, “But wouldn’t it be more interesting?”, she said it would just be a lot of boring prairie land. So I took her at her word and decided I would take the Interstate tomorrow since I had a lot of ground to cover.
