Long day yesterday, but I made it. Today I won’t go anywhere because my buddy in Buckeye won’t be ready for me until tomorrow. Plus I want to see what Flagstaff is like.
Went to the local cafe for breakfast. Talked to my “server” a bit about what life is like in Flagstaff. Sure enough, they’re not really happy about us Californians moving into their state, but she was nice enough about it.
After breakfast I went back to my motel room and answered email and did some web work. Went into town for lunch. Checked out “old town”. Walked around a bit and took some photos. Stopped by the Chamber of Commerce and they directed me to the local Community College. I went there and an HR Rep was nice enough to give me the names and numbers of department heads I could contact to see if they have any openings for instructors.
Went back to my motel room. More web work. Moved the videos I took yesterday to my laptop. Charged batteries. Got ready to go to Buckeye tomorrow.
