Checked out of the motel at noon. Hung around the motel lobby (since it was air conditioned and was already hot outside) to take advantage of the wi-fi to get caught up on emails and to handle an emergency request from one of my clients.
Got in contact with my family friend who gave me directions to their house. I was there by 5:30pm. He set me up in their guest house. I took a shower, put on clean clothes and his family and I went out to an Indian restaurant for a goodbye dinner for their son who was going away to his third year of college at Loyola in Los Angeles (Biochemistry).
