Another great ride. Nice temps all day. My Bend, Oregon host said Bend is considered high desert. I couldn’t see that at the time, but as I made my way into the Redwood forests of California, I saw the difference. Although Bend has its fair share of trees, it just isn’t the same as being in the Redwood National Park along the coast of California (National Park Service | Wikipedia).
Another amazing sight is Crater Lake (National Park Service | Wikipedia) with its volcanic cinder cone known as Wizard Island (Crater Lake Institute | Wikipedia). I stopped to take some photos and videos. It was quite a view and well worth the few moments I took.
